Applying False lashes

Hi hi! I've been playing around with false lashes for a while. Have you ever had your strip begin to peel away from your natural eyelashes during the night or day? Doesn't that make you feel embarassed when someone tells you that your false lashes are flying off?

I decided to change it up a bit and decide to cut pieces of various different style lashes to 1-1.5 cm wide and align them close together. I used two different style lashes, but I forgot to put a picture up here showing the lashes that I used. But basically one was winged, and the other style is for lengths.

You can see how I had cut the lashes and only used 3/4 off the whole strip. From the strip, I made three little 1cm pieces and already placed them on my eyes.

I already posted something like this on my blog. You can click here
You can see that I used neutral brown eyeshadow palette to create this FOTD. I've been using a lot of BB creams and my face looks like a doll. I also did a winged eyeliner so it elongates my eyes and complement the false lashes.

You can definitely see it better here in natural lighting with a close up of my face. O___O I'm so embarrassed because you can see how one my eyes is bigger and rounder than the other one.

You can see how I put more eyeliner to make the false lashes blend in with my natural lash line. I put the three pieces close together to get a nice winged and lengthening effect. My lashes are super short and this is a good technique to try since gluing the whole strip on will allow for the edges to peel off during the day.

I'm still trying to grow into this new hair color. I don't think it really suits me. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.

They look really natural! Did they take you long to apply them? I am so clumsy with these false lashes :p

No. They don't take that long. They are easier to manage when you have them cut into smaller pieces rather than one big long strip. Once I glued and stabilized them, that was it. I didn't have to worry about frilly edges. I hope I answered your question.
