Apple likely to announce iPods, iTV, new iTunes on Sept. 1

Apple surprised industry insiders Wednesday afternoon with an invitation to its exclusive event at the Yerba Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on Sept. 1.

Last year's iPod Touch update was a disappointment — there was a spec bump but it didn't get a camera, as anticipated — and this year, Apple is presumed to include its FaceTime video chatting feature in more products, in order to help it grow. (Right now, the only people who can make or receive FaceTime calls are iPhone 4 owners, and then only if they're in Wi-Fi networks.)

Not only is it likely that the iPod Touch will look like the current iPhone and have a front-facing camera, photos of Chinese components — which continue to appear on MacRumors and other sites around the internet — support the theory all too well. Further leaks suggest that it will have a 3-megapixel camera on the back, for stills and (hopefully HD) video, and that it will probably have Apple's A4 processor inside, giving it graphics and game performance in line with the current iPhone and iPad. Bring it, Steve.

In addition, iLounge is also hearing that the small touchscreen device that we've been seeing hints of will be thought of as an iPod Nano rather than a Shuffle -- though iLounge admits "it doesn't make much sense" to them at this point.

Little Wonders in the Movie "Meet the Robinsons"

A couple days ago I watched a Disney movie "Meet the Robinsons"and I love the song by Rob Thomas-Little Wonders. It makes me want to keep moving and be strong from all that has happened to me recently.

Bigen Permanent Powder Hair Color #56 Review

Hey, I have mentioned that I changed my hair color and hair style in my last post.

The reason for the change is because I wanted something different. I wanted my hair black and was tired of the uneven hair tone with highlighted brown near my ear. It just didn't look nice anymore. 

I use a Japanese hair dye that has no ammonia in it, but really works well. In this I use Bigen, #56 Which is Rich Medium Brown. They are really cheap in the supermarket and works really well too. Usually for people with grey hair and wants to have black hair.

 I just cut my bangs, no preference or anything of choice. You really can see how my hair looks orange at certain lightings.

This product comes in a powder form and you have to add water to mix it well.

Application process as I separate my hair into quarters and evenly coat my hair with the dye. I let it sit for 30mins. And then I would rinse and condition my hair.

Hair wasn't as dark as I wanted it was a dark brown, and my bangs were very shabby looking like I did a horrible job on it. But it doesn't matter, because I know my hair will grow back eventually for a new style and cut later on.  Overall the dye is really easy to use. It does not smell like most hair products. It does stain your clothes, so you must be careful in wearing gloves and protect your skin/nails from dye.

I would recommend using this product again if you want a darker hair color after all the highlight and dying because this acts as a glaze over your hair.

Japanese Potato Salad Recipe

Hi everyone! I just wanted to welcome you back since I have been away for a long time. Been through a rollercoaster ride with my life. And I found a new interesting in trying to cook foods and posting the recipe up on my blog now. This is my first attempt to put a How to recipe on something that I love to eat when I get bento boxes at Japanese restaurants. This is a simple quick recipe on Japanese Potato Salad.

I hope you enjoy it.

 

The key ingredient to this recipe is the Japanese mayonnaise. I use the kewpie brand. I don't like American brands because they are really vinegary. This recipe is creamy in texture and not as acidic as traditional potato salads. Cook time: 20mins. Serving size 3-4 servings.

When potatoes are tender, drain the water and mash them. Lightly season the potatoes with salt and let them cool down.

 I thought it was cool how the cucumber produces water when you slice it. It's amazing how much water is stored in the vegetable and reminds me of  biology classes when I was studying plants and botany.

 You can reduce the amount of mayo you add to your recipe if you do not like it so much. You can also take out the vinegar if you don't like it either. It can be easily modified for your preference. 

Make sure everything is mixed evenly. You can add more salt/pepper to your liking. You would have to refrigerate at least 3 hours or store it in the fridge overnight for best results. Enjoy!

By the way, I changed my hair style and color, so more updates to come. I am also trying to pick up my creative art side that I have abandoned in drawing and photography. So I've been trying to look for another white box set up. So I will post more, and hope you keep reading more.
