Update & Loreal HiColor Review

Hey everyone! I'm such a bad blogger. I've been MIA for a super long time. Just taking a break from everything, mostly personal life and school has just taken a toll on me. I've been wanting to write a review on my hair color dye that I used to change my hair from black to auburn brown (orange brown).

Top things on my list is Graduation from my university on May 15th that I haven't had time to post up pictures of. Graduation wasn't really an exciting thing for me since I don't know what I want to do afterwards or have a job lined up right after. It's an overwhelming journey and process. It's a step into the big world called REALITY! Ha, it is not a pretty world out there and I do plan on going back to school for professional graduate school. I just don't know which one.

On the meantime, I'm going to do a review of the hair dye I used. Loreal Hicolor Excellence for Dark Hair only in Sanstorm Blonde. I used the Oreor Creme Developer as the packaged had told to do so.

It was easy to use. I think I should have used two tubes instead of one since my hair was quite long and the roots turned a quicker color than the bottom portion of the hair.

This is my hair color before I had died it. It's black with some brown tinge to it on the bottom of the hair. I was tired of black so I wanted to change it up.

I left the dye in my hair for 45mins and heat fixed it with a blow dryer in a bag to enhance the colors.

Color of the hair after rinsing. It was super bright on the top and I was really worried that I had messed up the coloring.

Here is a comparison with the lighting in the bathroom vs. natural light from the sunlight. My hair was really bright on the top like an orange tinge. I was really worried, but now the color has toned out and even out after a couple of washes.

Thanks all for stopping by my page to read. I'll keep up my posts from now on. I'll put up a post on my graduation and exciting events following afterwards. Take care everyone. I will get better with everything in life.

xoxo

Omg!!! You're BACK YUMI!!!!!! :)

Congrats on graduating...I know reality doesn't sound the best right now, but a lot of people I know didn't really know exactly what they wanted after graduation, so you're def. not alone. I hope your heart can settle on something that it really would like to pursue.

I LOVE your new haircolor! It is perfect for the Summer!!!w
